Cadillac showed a huge convertible, which was built on the foundations of the electric luxury sedan Celestiq

Cadillac has unveiled an impressive convertible concept that shares its platform with the electric luxury sedan, the Celestiq. This new model features an array of unique exterior details, most notably its two large doors that open almost 90 degrees, enhancing both accessibility and style.

Inside, the vehicle is a showcase of craftsmanship and luxurious materials. The interior incorporates five different types of wood, meticulously handled by artisans. Adding to the uniqueness, certain parts of the door upholstery are made from an innovative material derived from mushroom roots, showcasing Cadillac’s commitment to sustainability and innovation. The carpets are crafted from bouclé, chosen for its ability to create a softer, airier, and warmer ambiance within the cabin.

Under the hood, the car retains its powerful electric drivetrain. It is equipped with two electric motors that deliver a combined 608 horsepower and 678 Nm of torque. The vehicle boasts a range of 438 km, supported by a substantial 111 kWh battery, ensuring both performance and practicality for longer journeys.
